Sea Buckthorn

Sea buckthorn – almost like a little bright orange sun growing in the sea shores. This “Nordic orange is extremely rich in vitamin C. The seeds of this strong acidic berries are filled with essential unsaturated fatty acids and fat soluble vitamins A and E. The most typical polyphenol of the seabuckthorn are flavonols.

Scientific evidence of sea buckthorn berries and oil indicates positive effects on skin, for example on atopic eczema and enanthemas. In addition, promising effects on blood pressure and blood lipids have been seen.
